I'm changing things around. My old site is HERE.

The Only Thing Better Than a Box of Garage Sale Cameras is a box of garage sale cameras with exposed film in them. I pondered the dilemma of what to do with two rolls of used film containing someone's personal pictures; their private family moments from some special moment in the past. Then, I went to Walgreens and had the film processed. No high art here... but does anyone know the years of the cars in these pictures?

Miscellaneous, Et cetera And a few extras that don't have a home anywhere else. El Quisco, Santiago, Puritama, Vina Del Mar, and Easter Island, Chile. The toilet water really DOES swirl in the opposite direction. Don't worry, though... you won't find any proof in pictures here.

Christmas on Easter Easter Island, that is, or "Isla de Pascua" as the Chilenos call it. Most people associate the island with stone head statues (they're actually called moais ["moh-eyes"]) . They've got 'em there, for sure - but that's only a small part of the beauty and mystery of the most remote island on Earth. I arrived on the morning of December 25, and I present to you my stone head pictures. It's mandatory that you take them. But fear not, there's some non-stone-head-pictures from Easter Island coming soon, too.

Absolutely Steamed Well, my cameras were, at least. Departing at 4:00 a.m., and driving for three hours over a skull-rattling dirt road, I arrived at the Geysers del Tatio in the north of Chile. It was dark and the temperature was near freezing. Warm vapor + cold equipment = instant condensation: on my lenses, my film, and on me. It's just like taking pictures in the shower, except there's a 13-hour flight to get to the bathroom.
