You Can't Hug Your Kids With Nuclear Arms. I know... a different decade, and a different cause. I always thought that slogan was funny, though. Regardless, a deep D.C. cold claimed about a third of my images by freezing the shutter on one of my Nikons. The surviving photos of the January 18 protest of the war on Iraq may offend you, but I still think it's cool that people are free to express themselves any way they choose.

Haven't Had It For Weeks, but then you get lucky. A lunchtime excursion brings me the opportunity to capture about a half dozen images that I actually like.

Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk, but apparently friends do let friends operate a camera while in a similar state. Somehow, I made over a hundred images that were completely out of focus - while using an auto-focus camera. Now that's a real feat. This is your brain; and this is your brain on green apple pucker martinis.

30% Of Your Life is what it works out to be, when you figure out how much time you spend with the people at your place of employment. And at my place of employment, there are plenty of people who'll be sure to tell me how poorly formed the previous sentence is.

Attending the Blackhawks vs. Red Wings hockey game, Barb and I were the only two Chicagoans within Section 304 - and completely surrounded by charismatic and resolute enemy collaborators, fresh off a bus from Michigan.
